Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using No Peek (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

What No Peek is

No Peek is a guest photo viewer. You select photos and videos from your device library, use guest viewing mode, and may use device biometrics or a PIN to control access. The App is intended to help you choose what others can see on your device; it does not upload your media to our servers.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. The App is not intended for children under 13.

License to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the rules of the app store from which you downloaded it (Apple App Store or Google Play).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App’s source code except where
    permitted by law
  • Interfere with or overload the App’s operation or related services
  • Use the App to harass, harm, or deceive others

No security guarantee

Guest mode and locks are convenience features. We do not guarantee that someone cannot bypass your device’s lock screen, use another app, or otherwise access content outside what you selected. You are responsible for who you hand your device to and for your device’s overall security settings.

Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wiser Steps and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD 50), if you paid nothing during that period. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

Third-party services

The App may rely on services provided by your device manufacturer, Apple, Google, and crash reporting (for example, Sentry). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Store purchases are processed by Apple or Google; their terms apply to those transactions.

Purchases

No Peek may offer paid features (for example, a one-time upgrade) through in-app purchase where available. Prices and availability are shown in the store. All purchases are final to the extent allowed by Apple’s or Google’s refund policies and applicable law. During periods when purchases are unavailable (for example, account transfer), access may be provided as described in-app or in our communications.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the App or change its features. Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and your rights

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory local consumer protection laws in your country or region.
